Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you give us when you get in touch, and what runs on this site.
Contents
Idyinn, LLC ("Stay Idyllwild", "we", "us", or "our") operates stayidyllwild.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site, to the contact form and the event inquiry forms on it, and to the emails we send in reply. It does not apply to the Cloudbeds booking engine, which is operated by Cloudbeds and governed by their own privacy policy once you leave this site to complete a reservation.
1. Notice at collection
We collect the categories of personal information listed in section 3 at or before the point you provide them, for the purposes listed alongside each category. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. We retain each category for the period stated in section 7. You can read this full policy at https://stayidyllwild.com/privacy-policy/.
This section is the notice at collection required by the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are a California resident, section 8 explains your rights and how to exercise them.

| Contact-form submissions stored in the website | Indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete them (section 8) | So we can answer follow-up questions about the stay or event you asked about |
| Enquiry emails in staff inboxes | 60 days | Long enough to answer the enquiry and any follow-up |
| Event inquiries held in Tripleseat | Until the events team deletes them; Tripleseat keeps an inquiry until it is deleted | So the events team can follow up an inquiry and any booking that comes from it |
| Analytics data | Google Analytics keeps visitor-level data for two months (its default setting) and aggregate reports after that | To see which pages are used and improve the Site |
Where a period cannot be fixed in advance, we state the criteria we use instead. We do not keep personal information for longer than the period disclosed here.
8. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended.
Right to know. You can ask us for the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
Right to delete. You can ask us to delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to the exceptions the law allows.
Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or give you a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by email to idyinngm@gmail.com or through the contact form. Before acting on a request to know, delete or correct, we verify that it comes from the email address our records hold for you, or ask for details of your enquiry that only you would know, and we may decline a request we cannot verify. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf the same way, by email or through the contact form.
Opt-out preference signals. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We treat the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser that sends it should that ever change.
We will confirm receipt of a request within ten business days and respond within forty-five calendar days, extending once by a further forty-five days where the law permits and telling you if we do.
9. How we protect personal information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole Site, access controls on our content management system, and a managed hosting platform that applies security updates to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss and misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim to.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact idyinngm@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and post a notice on the Site for material changes. The version in force is the one posted on this page.
12. Contact
